Center Time

We are learning away here in kindergarten!  I am trying very hard to find  make time to blog more.  I have had several parents ask about it!  I know you all love to know what your child is doing here in Room 131!  Here is a look into our morning centers.  We are in the process of choice centers where they are allowed to choose the order of how their work gets complete and they as always are allowed to use the whole room and sit where ever they learn best!  Here are some pictures for you! 

 They love to do centers together!  They also love to use every area of our room especially the teachers chair!

 The floor is often another favorite choice for getting our work done!

Hair in the Air!

We are rocking it out in room 131 this year!  We are soo busy in here I barely have anytime to do anything extra (like updating this blog) lol!  I am soooo incredibly proud of this group of kids.  I love them all so much and look forward to coming to school everyday.  They are a fun bunch who loves to learn, loves to laugh, loves to have fun and most importantly loves to be crazy with me.  We love writing and counting the room as we rock out to music and our current playlist is the Trolls soundtrack!  I will try to update this more often as we do soo much fun the world needs to know!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We learned all about bats... look for our cool writing activity at conferences- they are hanging in our hallway!

Spiders

Ahhhhhhhhh Spiders!!!!

What has eight legs, eight eyes, two hands, two feet and a smile?  Our kindergartener's!!! 

We made spider hats to kick off spider week.

We counted with spiders.

And on Friday we made a spider snack.

Fire Safety Week!

We know what to do if there is a fire.....

The Willard Fire Department came to talk to us about fire safety.

They brought a fire truck and 

an ambulance to show us.

Mercy hospital comes in once a month to talk to us about healthy food, exercise and how to be and stay healthy. Our healthy snack was apples this month.

Thank you Mrs. Bordner for teaching us about My Plate and bringing us apples.

Science experiment Friday-- milk in a pan....
